Flash Video Platform

The Flash Video Platform is a hosting- en streaming platform concerning FlashVideo, based on the scalable solution of the Wowza Media Server Pro of Wowza Media Systems (www.wowzamedia.com). In total, there will be 5 different services available on the platform. Each service can be obtained separately as well as all together. For now, the Flash Video On-Demand Service and Flash Video Webcasting Service can be used, other services will follow. These 5 services will be available:

The Flash Video Platform, and all services that go with it, are available through a website as well as a webservice. The website is where, through self-service and without technical knowledge, all different actions for the obtained services can be handled. The webservice offers a so-called API, that gives the possibility to automatize all matters that can be obtained with the website, and makes them available for for example content management systems, existing websites and other (IT)systems.

All systems are simple and unambiguous so that the use of extra services will not require any extra knowledge from the user. There are statistics available to keep track of any kind of information. Moreover, the licensingmodel is setup in a way that a flexible growth in use of the platform without extra high costs is possible. Flexibility in peaks and an easy way of upgrading makes this possible. Besides this, FlashHosting has a clear focus on the largescale consumer by offering them cost-effective models.
